Wow - they acquitted Michael Jackson. They didn't even find him guilty on any of the lesser counts of serving alcohol to a minor. Personally, I thought he was guilty just cause he looked like a creepy pedophile. I wonder what the greak is going to do now. Anyway, what do the rest of you think - is he guilty or not? --MM

He's probably guilty, but he's got good attorneys, plus the family's (that was suing him) case was kind of sketchy. We all sat around the office watching it today, that's one good thing about where I work, there are TV's EVERYWHERE! --RD

I think he is guilty. But the case is hard to prove beyond reasonable doubt in the first place, so I wasn't surprised he got acquitted.
Is it me or did the scene outside the courtroom during the reading of the verdict feel very cult-like? That creepy lady releasing a dove with each not guilty verdict, all those people crying as if it was their mother who got the verdict.
I always find it interesting how people are blinded by their infatuation with a celebrity. Imagine if it was a regular person who slept with little children in their bed. What would these people think of him? Not to say that Michael is guilty or not, just an observation how some people blindly follow celebrities.
I agree with you - the lady and the doves was very creepy, indeed. There was a news reporter who said it seemed as if the jury were "in awe" of MJ and his celebrity from the beginning. When the accuser took the stand and told the courtroom about his ordeal - something very personal and humiliating to him, the jury was whispering and laughing amongst themselves. I think it's just awful that they would treat the accuser with such disrespect.

Think about the evironment he grew up in. Watching his dad and brothers have sex when he was just wee old. Getting beat by his dad. He has a skewed sense of sexuality. He has a skewed sense of self and reality too.... And then all the accusations had better be based on Someting!
