gloria's

Today for dinner I met up with my friend "cupcakes" and decided to check out this el savadorian/mexican restaurant up the street from my place called gloria's. It was so good, omg! We ordered a combo plate and a Carnistas plate and shared it. The combo plate had Papusa - this salvadorian type quesedilla. Cupcakes was conversing with the waiter in spanish and from what I could understand of the very minimal spanish I know he said that it was a bigger, better version of the quesedilla. Boy was he right. The combo plate also had carnitas, fried plantains, fried yucutan and of course rice and beans. This is a picture of the carnitas (pork) was this whole dish of well, pork served with rice and beans and tortilla. I wish I could remember the names but it was SO GOOD! It's just down the street from my house and I have never been there, imagine what I have been missing! Anyways, this is a picture of the pork plate. Yum.
